Don’t forget to breathe

Keeping your stress, worries, and fears inside, as if to trap them, is like holding your breath. Do it for too long and you feel like you’re on the brink of death.

Talking about them or writing them down is as cathartic and critical as exhaling. As crucial as inhaling is, you can only do it for so long until you’re about to burst. Expressing to exhale, to let things out, can be just as relieving and helpful as taking a deep breath in the first place.

Breathing means both in and out.
