Give Credit to Mistakes

It’s easy to look at a mistake and believe you failed, and that the “failure” itself is your identity. It’s easy to say “I’m no good” or “I’m just bad at this.” It’s convenient, effortless. It doesn’t require us to take responsibility for the result and for producing a different one next time.

It’s much harder to push through awkward attempts, to find your footing after you’ve stumbled, and to see the subpar performances…
